Its not that men are more confident at the top, its because there are more of them. We’ll seen as the seasons progress, more ladies will begin racking up the bracelets you’ll see. Which is great, because i’m sick of seeing those not so very photogenic men on the front of WSOP every month.

“Men are free to ignore the gender label of the tournament if they don’t mind getting booed.” Thats an awesome quote. Just imagine if men booed the few female players that played in a tournament? Sexist? Discrimination? Theres a few females in almost all competitive games that can compete with men – It doesnt make it sexist, It just points to the fact that men are generally stronger at the top levels of competition. I dont know why, but theres alot of evidence to back this up.

Hi Jen, I am curious then, how would you feel about men only tournaments? It is an interesting perspective to look at the question of ladies only events solely as a poker player, as opposed to how one may look at some other gender segregated issue. Very thought provoking.
